Monitoring - Two reported PHP security vulnerabilities, CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619, were disclosed on October 21, 2026. These vulnerabilities may expose systems running affected PHP builds to security risks.
We have completed the following updates on our shared and reseller hosting infrastructure:
Updated our cPanel server to version 138.0.18.
Updated the cPanel PHP 8.4 package (ea-php84) to PHP 8.4.27.
Applied the relevant security update to our AzuraCast radio streaming server.
The following patched versions have been identified for the affected PHP branches:
PHP 8.4: Update to 8.4.27 or later.
PHP 8.3: Update to 8.3.36 or later.
PHP 8.2: Update to 8.2.35 or later.
PHP 8.1, 8.0, 7.4 and 5.6: These versions are end-of-life or unsupported by the upstream PHP project. Security support and fixes depend on the specific vendor and installed package. Do not assume these versions are protected without verifying the relevant security advisories and package updates.
Important: The availability of a patched PHP package does not necessarily mean it is installed or enabled for your website. The PHP version assigned to each domain must be checked separately.
Please follow these steps to review the PHP version used by your websites:
Log in to your cPanel account.
Open MultiPHP Manager or Select PHP Version.
Check the PHP version assigned to each domain and subdomain.
Where compatible, select a supported PHP version with the required security fixes installed.
Test your website after changing the PHP version to confirm that it works correctly.
If you cannot upgrade because of application compatibility, contact our support team for assistance.
Please note that changing your PHP version may affect older websites or applications. We recommend taking a backup before making significant changes.
Dedicated server and VPS customers are responsible for securing their server environments. Please review all installed PHP versions, PHP-FPM pools, Apache or LiteSpeed PHP handlers, and any application-specific PHP runtimes.
Check the security advisories applicable to your operating system and PHP packages.
Install the appropriate patched packages or vendor-provided security updates.
Restart affected services when required and verify that the updated runtimes are active.
Review PHP installations bundled with applications and services, including self-managed AzuraCast deployments.
